Shipping Information

Hello, Summer!

1. TRANSIT SPEED: With the warmer temperatures upon us, our shipping policies and procedures have been updated. If shipping outside the northeast, you must select 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air/Saver. 3 Day Select is no longer available through the summer months.

2. SURCHARGE: There is an additional $5 surcharge calculated on perishable shipments to account for additional packaging.

3. DISPATCH: Friday dispatch is very limited and will be used infrequently.

UPS Transit Delays

UPS continues to see transit delays due to global supply chain and labor issues. Please allow ample time for your package to be delivered and consider all delays when you select a ship method and ship date at check out. At check out, you are selecting a SHIP date, not a delivery date. We cannot control UPS transit times once packages leave our facility. Delayed shipments will not be refunded.


Shipping Methods and Dates

Shipment dates selected at check out are "Week of [date]", which means your package may ship any day that week. It does not guarantee a Monday dispatch.

  • We reserve the right to hold your order to ship at a later date due to operational conditions, such as high temperatures, high humidity, known disaster areas, etc.
  • We strongly recommend all orders, regardless of where you're shipping, ship via a premium shipping method, such as 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air. This is to encourage our shipments to be prioritized over Ground shipments, though that is not guaranteed.
  • Though we strongly encourage 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air methods, we're leaving 3 Day Select, Ground and SurePost as options if the other methods are cost prohibitive.

Our shipping methods are based on how to get you the freshest product, the fastest. For more product care information, visit our Product Care page. Shipping is available in the 48 continental states. Please call for shipments to Alaska and/or Hawaii.

Please note: Some of our products have longer lead times than others. Always read full product descriptions for the most accurate product shipping information.

How is the shipping rate determined?

Our shipping charges are calculated based on actual shipping costs, plus the packaging materials used to ship your items.

Gingerbread Houses
We only ship our small decorated houses, small undecorated houses, and medium undecorated houses. We are unable to ship medium and large decorated gingerbread houses. Ground shipping is included in the cost of these products. They will arrive in separate boxes from other items you order. 
Larger sized Gingerbread Houses are too fragile to ship, and can only be picked up in store. 

Decorating Kits
Ground shipping is included in the cost of these products. If you need an expedited shipping method, additional charges will apply.

Gingerbread Cookie Products, Sugar Cookies, Biscotti 
These items can be shipped via UPS Ground to the 48 continental states. If you would like these items delivered faster, you can ship them UPS 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, or Next Day Air.

Muffin Loaves, Gourmet Cookies, Brownies
The freshness of these items is of the utmost importance. Using the chart below, please ensure that you will receive your product within three days of its ship date. If the product’s destination isn’t within UPS’ three-day range, please choose the 3-Day Select shipping method. If you’d like your items to be delivered faster, you can choose 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air. 

To ensure your product is shipped in only the freshest condition:
Items shipped 2nd Day Air cannot ship on Fridays.
Items shipped Next Day Air cannot ship on Fridays.

Please Note: Only GROUND shipments deliver on Saturdays, according to UPS' policies. Premium shipping speeds like Next Day Air, Second Day Air, and 3-Day Select only deliver Monday through Friday, and will NOT deliver on Saturdays.



Shipping Policies

We do our best to ensure that your products are delivered on time, but cannot guarantee delivery dates. Delivery dates estimated at check out are predictions only, and not guarantees. There are things outside of our control including but not limited to weather, high package volume, strikes, natural disasters, safety control measures, etc. Once packages are in the hands of UPS, there are certain risks that cannot be mitigated.

If any issues arise with your order address (invalid or incomplete addresses), we will make a minimum of two (2) attempts to contact you by either phone or email. If after a period of time, we cannot reach you to confirm, your order may be cancelled; or shipped to the address provided, despite invalidation. If an order is undeliverable due to the invalid address provided by the customer, it will not be refunded.

Orders placed online may not be refunded if the incorrect shipping method was chosen resulting in early or late delivery, or a returned shipment; or if there were spelling or grammatical errors in the gift message.

Once an order is placed, it is considered final and is non-refundable. We cannot guarantee cancellation of orders once placed.

Since we ship via UPS only, we cannot ship to PO Box addresses.

We reserve the right to hold any shipment due to weather or environmental concerns at a dispatch or destination address.

All shipments will ship with a shipper release, which means we are not responsible for lost, returned or undeliverable shipments, and cannot refund orders that were confirmed as delivered via tracking information. If you prefer to ship with a signature required, you must specifically request this feature. We are not responsible for packages that require a signature but are not delivered because no one is available to sign.


Issues with Orders Received

If there is an issue with your product or shipment for any reason, you must retain the shipment until you've made contact with the Company. Photos, videos, retrieval or other requirements may apply.
